Lot contains: (A) Heer tropical shorts, and (B) Heer tropical trousers. (A) An unissued pair of early Heer tropical shorts marked to a company in "Gutersloh" which still retains the paper tag with the size markings on the left front. Heavy olive cotton twill with two slash front pockets, front right watch pocket, and a right rear slash pocket which is secured by a metal dish button. Olive painted steel buckle is present on the hidden belt and a small ring is sewn to the right front to secure the watch. Front fly area is secured by six metal dish buttons. Liner inside the waist and pockets linings are in an off-white cotton twill. CONDITION: Unissued and mint. (B) An unissued pair of mid-war Heer tropical straight leg trousers which are depot marked "M 43" with both the "RBNr" and size markings on the inside waistband. Heavy olive cotton twill with two slash front pockets, front right watch pocket, and a right rear slash pocket which is secured by a metal dish button. Olive painted steel buckle is present on the hidden belt and a small ring is sewn to the right front to secure the watch. Front fly area is secured by six metal dish buttons, and one is a replacement. Inner waist has six metal dish buttons, of which two are for suspenders. Liner inside the waist and pockets linings are in an off-white cotton twill. CONDITION: Unissued and mint.
