Lot contains: (A) Luftwaffe tropical tunic, and (B) Heer officer tropical breeches. (A) Lufwaffe tropical tunic with maker mark (Szysaka?) and size stamping inside the left side. Tunic exhibits fading and moderate wear with fraying to both cuffs. There are several stains on the arms and back. The six front buttons, as well as the four pocket flap buttons, are original but have been postwar repainted and retain 90+ of their newer paint. The shoulder strap buttons retain 80% of their original wartime paint, and are the large style buttons. Three original tan glass buttons secure the cuffs and the collar. The left sleeve has four 1/4" holes and a 3" repair near the cuff. CONDITION: Very good. (B) An early pair of Heer tropical officer breeches which are maker and size marked on the inside waistband. Heavy olive corduroy construction with two slash front pockets, front right watch pocket, and a right rear slash pocket which is secured by a metal dish button. Breeches exhibit light wear. The front hidden belt/ buckle is absent, and a small ring is sewn to the right front to secure the watch. Three belt loops have been added to the sides and rear with stitching by hand, and this appears to have been done during the WWII era for the wear of a combat belt. Front fly area is secured by six metal dish buttons. Inner waist has six metal dish buttons, of which two are for suspenders. Waistband inner liner and pockets linings are in a light tan cotton twill. CONDITION: Excellent.
