Lot consists of 2 plug bayonets. (A) Double edge blade with toward base and no ricasso. One edge with more wear than the other from likely use as a knife. Smooth metal, muted steel gray with dark gray spots. Round guard with short bar quillons flaring slightly toward tips. Pommel cap in place and short ferrule below swell. CONDITION: Very good. Tight fit of wood to metal. No chips to wood. Good edge and point. (B) Leaf shape blade with long ricasso stamped lengthwise "M. Sanchez". Double edge blade concave obverse with median ridge, flat reverse. Handle with long ferrule below swell, round serrated guard with bar qullions and turned finials. CONDITION: Good. Smooth metal, steel gray with darker spots, good edge, tip blunted. Pommel cap base in place, top broken off. Wood good, with tight fit.
