LOT OF 2: PRE-WAR LIONEL O-GA. NO. 249E & NO. 261 STEAM PASSENGER SETS
(A) No. 249E set consists of No. 249E Steam Locomotive with No. 265W Tender in gunmetal grey and three blue and silver passenger cars: No. 610 Pullman, No. 610 Pullman, and a No. 612 Observation Car. Locomotive and tender appear to be all original, except for the steam chest on the locomotive, which appear to have either been repainted or replaced. The rest of the locomotive appears all original and has minimal nicks and scratches. The motor on the locomotive turns freely. The cowcatcher is in good condition. The tender looks good, with some nicks and scratches on the tender, all original. All three passenger cars appear to be all original, showing some nicks and scratches, but still overall a nice-looking set, very good condition overall. (B) No. 261 set consists of No. 261 Steam Locomotive and No. 257T Tender, with three terracotta and maroon passenger cars: No. 610 Pullman, No. 610 Pullman, and a No. 612 Observation Car. The locomotive and tender appear to be all original, however the cowcatcher on the front of the steam locomotive has been repaired. Engine has nicks and scratches on it, wheels turn freely on the locomotive, the tender looks to be in all original condition, with some nicks and scratches, locomotive and tender in good condition overall. All passenger cars are in original condition and do have some nicks and scratches. Set is in good condition overall.
