Two Royal Doulton figurines depict a man and a woman. The man is believed to be modeled after Cardinal Wolsey and is wearing a long robe and hat with a roll of paper in his hand. The figurine is white porcelain while the robes and hat have a tan wash on them. The lady is wearing a long, green gown and a pink hat with a long cape draped over her arm and flowing to the ground. Each piece is marked with a crown mark "DOULTON BURSLEM ENGLAND". The bishop is signed on the side of the base "C. NOKE", while the lady is signed on the side of the base "NOKE". There is a small flake to the bottom back corner of the base of the lady, otherwise very good to excellent. Man 13 - 1/4" T., Lady 12 - 1/2" T.

Item Dimensions: 13 - 1/4" x 4" x 3 - 1/2".
