Lot consists of: (A) Recruiting poster for young men age eighteen to twenty-six for the Army Air Corps Bomber Squadron. Entitled "Keep 'Em Flying!" Features an image of three bombers flying above a bomber crew studying an aerial map. This is a real photo poster that features actual serviceman, dated 1942. The captain has a great flying jacket with leather patch, featuring an alligator. The photo was courtesy of the Saturday Evening Post. CONDITION: Has usual mailing folds, light edged wear, and brilliant color. This poster came out at a time where the bomber crew death rate was astronomical, and considered the most dangerous of all duty during the Second World War. (B) Extremely scarce recruiting poster for the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps. That features a beautiful woman in uniform set against a blue background. CONDITION: Has usual folds, but is in excellent condition with nice white border and brilliant colors. (A) measures 24"x36", (B) measures 20"x28".
