The German MP-40 was a 32 shot fully automatic sub-machine gun for the German army from 1940 to 1945; often referred to as the "Burp" gun, it has a cycle rate of 400-550 rounds per minute. It was a high quality weapon that was used throughout the war. All three original magazines are full Nazi marked as follows: Magazine (A) stamped ayf43 with Waffenamt 280; Magazine (B) is stamped bte42 with Waffenamt 1aAB37; and Magazine (C) ayf42 with Waffenamt 280. These original magazines are extremely difficult to find and retain the majority of their original blue finish with sharp markings.
