Lot contains: (A) Imperial German M1898 bayonet with a 20" nickel plated blade retaining 95% if its original finish with light freckling and marked "W.K. & C., Solingen". Fittings retain 45-50% of their nickel finish with dark undamaged wooden grips. Leather scabbard is dry and retains 45-50% of its black finish, with nickel plated fittings retaining 85+% of their finish. Early bayonet frog is attached in good condition. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. (B) Imperial German WWI "Blucher" sword with a 30" blade with scattered marks, freckling, and has been resharpened. Blade is dated 1916 with a "1920" Reichswehr reissue date, with crossed out mismatched unit markings on sword and scabbard. Steels fittings are covered in patina and freckling, with a lightly damaged grip. Blued steel scabbard retains 90-95% of its finish, with light freckling. Incorrect portepee is attached. CONDITION: Very good overall. (C) German pre-WWII Lion Head artillery sword with a 33" triple-etched "W.K. & C." marked nickel plated blade retaining 95% of its finish, with moderate runner and scattered marks. Brass fittings retain 60-65% of their gilt finish, and wire wrapped trylon grip with most of the wire being loose. Blued steel scabbard retains 90+% of its blued finish with light to moderate freckling, and a half dozen light to moderate dents. CONDITION: Excellent plus. (D) Third Reich Police Officer sword with a 33" resharpened steel blade, with a moderate level of scattered marks and 55-60% freckling. The blade is bent 10 degrees off-center about 14" from the tip, and the tip is again bent another 10 degrees. Steel fittings have less then 5% of their nickel finish with heavy freckling over the remainder. Pommel cap is the officer style, and the wire wrapped grip with police emblem are very good. Black painted scabbard retains 60-55% if its finish, with heavy scattered marks, and the fittings are heavily freckled, with with both sides of the top fitting being heavily bent above the screws.
