Lot contains (A) Imperial German Clamshell cutlass, (B) Imperial German Forestry cutlass, (C) Imperial German cutlass, and (D) Two portepee knots. (A) Third Reich era hunting cutlass made by "Carl Eickhorn" in near mint condition. The triple etched blade exhibits less than 5% freckling and scattered light marks to cutting edge. The nickel plated fittings hold in place a stag handled grip, which is missing its emblem. Both fittings and grip are in near mint condition with a even patina. The leather scabbard is also in near mint condition with decorative engraving on the finial. (B) Third Reich era forestry cutlass made by "Carl Eickhorn" has a triple etched blade which is in near mint condition with light runner marks. The brass hilt, guard and bone grip are all near mint. The leather scabbard and brass fittings are also in near mint condition. Two minor dents are present on the finial. This cutlass includes its correct frog. (C) Imperial era cutlass made by "W.K.C." with 20-25% freckling and scattered light marks on the blade. The blade is in very good condition. The brass fittings and stag handled grip are in excellent condition. The leather scabbard, with brass fittings, are in very good condition exhibiting a few scattered light marks, as well as a few minor dents to the lower finial. (D) The green and silver portepees and knots are 16 inches in length and are in good condition with some fraying.
