Lot consists of: (A) 145mm shell that was converted into a small storage chest. Shell is hinged and opens with hollow space inside, mounted on a wood base. the top reads "Beschiessung Von Kotschach / am / 3 September / 1916". Scattered scuffs and blemishes. CONDITION: Good. (B) Heavy 15" long shell that was converted into a clock. No visible markings. Clock does not appear to function but no attempt at winding was made. CONDITION: Good. (C) Trench art shell marked "Verdun France" with a handshake and German pickelhaube. Marked on bottom. Nice patina. CONDITION: Good. (D) Trench art shell marked "Verdun 1918" with flowers. Marked on bottom. Nice patina. CONDITION: Good. (E) 11" long shell with screw top and hollow interior. Markings on bottom are obscured. Nice patina. CONDITION: Fair.
