An early peg jointed wooden(missing lower arm) with finely painted features, black painted hair (paint flake on top of head & on back shoulder). Dressed in a period blue silk empire-style dress with a fringed hem & underwear and being presented in an antique padded paper & cardboard box. Rare china-head lady with early bun hairdo featuring brushmarks around her face, daintily painted facial features, rosy cheeks, original cloth body with china lower limbs, and original outfit with metallic braid trim. A pair of china head dolls with 1860's hairdos, cloth bodies with china lower limbs, and clothing which appears original. A minuscule frozen Charlotte baby with original gown. Wax baby head and shoulders with cloth torso and wide skirt but no legs, Ca. 1870 with daintily painted features and mohair wig, dressed in brocade. A very interesting grouping of early small items ready for display!
