(A) C. 1920s Ferdinand Strauss “Leaping Lena” tin-lithographed wind-up comic car. (B) C. 1926. Louis Marx & Co. “Funny Flivver” tin-lithographed clockwork crazy car. (C) C.1925. Louis Marx & Co. “King Racer” tin-lithographed toy car, featuring a yellow body, green disc wheels, and an integral driver figure. (D) C. 1920s. Ferdinand Strauss “Yell-O-Taxi” tin-lithographed wind-up automobile, bearing the Ferdinand Strauss mark on the rear. “Yell-O-Taxi” is printed on the front grille and side doors, with additional company branding on the rear panel. (E) C.1920s. Louis Marx & Co. “Leaping Lena” tin-lithographed wind-up automobile. (F) C. 1950s. A nice Banner pressed-steel “Hi-Way” emergency tow truck.
