Lot consists of (A) 51.3cm shinogi zukuri blade with suguha hamon. Ubu nakago with one mekugi-ana. Spuriously signed Yoshi Nobu. Shakudo fuchikashira with gilt copper highlights. Shishi dog menuki. Gold silk tsukumaki. Pierced iron tsuba. Military type scabbard with leather boot. CONDITION: Mounts acceptable, blade is bright but with serious shintetsu and some oxidation. Scratching towards boshi. Scabbard with leather deteriorated. (B) 44.9cm blade. Midare hamon. Nakago signed Izumi Nokami Kanesada with kikumon. Ubu, one mekugi-ana. Plain shaduko with handachi mounts. Mino goto menuki with flowers. Shakudo nanako kozuka with relief tachi and kabuto. Lacquer scabbard with abalone pieces. Missing kurakata. Silver foil habaki. CONDITION: Blade is in fair polish with one flaw in the shinogi. Some old discoloration at boshi. Mino Goto shakudo tsuba with gold highlights. (C) 30.1cm shinogi zukuri tanto with he extending almost through the nakago. Choji midare hamon. Nakago is ubu mumei with one mekugi-ana that was enlarged during an ancient remount. Silver foil habaki. Shirasaya. CONDITION: Blade in fair state of polish with only minor shintetsu and considerable and attractive jinie throughout the hamon. May be worth sending for Shinsa. An interesting lot. MZ
