LOT OF TWO GERMAN WORLD WAR II ARMY OFFICER'S SWORDS.
Lot of 2 German WWII Army officer's swords: (A) Heer sword with a 35.5-inch "WKC" marked blade with light scattered marks. Brass hilt exhibits most of its gilding. The black wire-wrapped trylon grip has some polish residue and most of the wire is loose. Steel scabbard has been repainted gold at some time and that paint is still present over half of the original black paint. CONDITION: Overall good. (B) Heer sword with a 31-inch unmarked marked blade with scattered marks. Brass hilt exhibits about half of its gilding. The black wire-wrapped trylon grip has light damage and a couple of the wire strands are loose. Steel scabbard retains most of its black paint with scatter scrapes and patina. CONDITION: Overall very good.
