Exceptionally good looking 18" Parisenne, unmarked, with pale bisque swivel head, closed mouth with slight smile, multi stroke eyebrows and finely painted eyelashes, cornflower blue inset glass eyes, with separate bisque shoulder plate on which the head swivels. Although unmarked she is believed to be a Juneau from the early 1880's. She wears an original dark blond mohair wig with tight curls and center part, and has a two piece beige silk dress with blue fringe trim and silk buttons; material is frail. Antique underwear, and very nice original brown leather boots with heels, side buttons and tassels. The body is firm white leather with curved arms and individually stitched fingers. There are also gusset joints at the elbows, hips and knees. It is hard to find these dolls with original clothing anymore, and although cloth is a bit worn, it is believed to be all original.
Item Dimensions: 18" T.
