Qing Dynasty. The meiping form urn with everted rim and short neck. The shoulder is cast with eight well-detailed aligned Guardian Lion masks, and tapers to a foot rim. Urn is unmarked. Old darkened surface with dark patina. Oxidation along edge of some masks. Good to very good overall. Urn is accompanied by a hardwood stand of later vintage. Size: 23" tall by 18" diameter.
