Overall length: 49 - 1/2". Barrel length: 33 - 1/2". Octagonal barrel. Percussion lock. Two-piece patchbox. Curly maple stock. Unsigned by attributed to John Watts. Three pewter inlays. Philadelphia-made Kentucky rifle with early maple stock, old finish, and "pine-apple" finial. Brass patchbox with five piercings all together, scalloped brass comb inlay, and scalloped lock-bolt plate, all of which are nicely engraved. Also has six engraved silver inlays. Wrist repair is contemporary with use of gun.
