German bisque socket head incised 10/3 and XII on crown rim (very light speckling on cheek and temple), an early model by J.D. Kestner, dark multi-stroked eyebrows, sleeping eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, small ears, open mouth with teeth and lip shading strokes, plaster pate, antique mohair wig; original early Kestner composition body with “dropped bottom” and jointed wrists, ball joints, and original finish (finger wear, knees repaired). Appropriately dressed in new silk and lace frock, cotton undies, vintage shoes and stockings. A lovely one, all ready to display!
