Hand carved wood heads and hands with cloth bodies. Bride has brushstrokes across her forehead and carved bun in back with carved hair ornaments and wears the traditional red silk outfit with embroidered flowers, pearl encrusted headdress, underwear and red slippers; Groom has short side-parted painted hair and wears traditional silk robe and hat, undergarments and boots. Fabulous pair of the so-called “later” version made after 1911!
Condition: (Excellent).
