Pair of early English peddler dolls, Ca. early 1800s, no labels but the type made by C & H White, Milton, Portsmouth, England, with shaped leather heads, bead eyes and mohair wigs (some wear on faces), cloth armature bodies with leather hands, original clothing (soiled) and trays with wears. “Henry VIII” with clay-type head (repair at neck), cloth body, composition type legs (repaired and repainted), clothing looks original but deteriorating. Very hard to find these peddler dolls in tact, after nearly 200 years!
Condition: (Fair - Good).
