Combination cased set of Smith and Wesson .44 cal. Triple Lock revolver and .38 cal. Colt Officers Model revolver in very good condition with blued finishes and checkered walnut grips. These were a special presentation set of pistols from the US Cartridge Co. to Major Charles W. Winder (Designer of the special Winder .22 Winchester rifle) for his service on the US Rifle Team at the 1908 World Olympics. Huge amount of supporting documentation is included with these unique pistols to a well know early 20the century shooting figure. Pistols come in a special leather presentation case, but with most accessories missing and interior needing restoration. A unique bit of American shooting history!
