12/12 gauge primary barrel 12 ga./30-06 secondary. Serial No.01737. Barrel length12/12 - 27 1/2" 12/30-06 23 3/4". Length of pull 14 1/2". Drop on the heel 2 3/4", drop on toe 1 3/4". Light handling marks on wood; otherwise excellent. All the items are deeply engraved to enhance the visual beauty of he set. The materials used for the metal parts of the set are made from special POLDI steel; with chrome lining of the shot gun barrels. The wood is select Turkish walnut, including the cover of the Cassette. The lining of the Cassete is made from high grade velvet. The deep engraving was done by the master engraver Jiri Netnik. Each set took six months of exacting labor to produce one set of guns and a Cassete. There were only five Cassetes made. From that number, three sets were sold to an Arabian Monarchy; one was given to a head of an Eastern block country and one found its way to the USA. This set is the last of the total production of five.
