Most likely Belgian or German single shot percussion style pistol with cartridge insert with anvil type primer in very good condition. Manufactured with blued steel barrel (smoothbore) and frame, wood grips, and front and rear sights. A unique, one of a kind piece worth more research. Overall length 8 ½” and barrel length 4 - ½”.
