Scarce revolver with approximately 900 manufactured in the early 1860s. Manufactured with a 7-1/2" octagon barrel, six shot .38 caliber rimfire cartridge, iron frame, single action, spur trigger, square butt, blued finish, and walnut grips. This is an early first type revolver, cylinder must be removed for loading. Features some scroll engraving on frame. All metal surfaces have turned a smooth brown soft patina. Excellent grips with no cracks or chips. Perfect action. Strong bore but frosted. Rare early Civil War revolver.
