This is a special order rifle in that it features a 28" full octagon barrel (4" longer than standard). It has a full magazine, rifle butt, blued finish, and walnut stock. The barrel retains the majority of the original factory blue finish with basic high edge wear. The magazine retains approximately 60% original blue mixed with gun metal grey. Receiver retains approximately 30% original factory high polish blue. Traces of case colors on lever and hammer. Excellent original walnut stocks are proud to metal with no cracks or chips. Chambered for the .44-40 Winchester cartridge.
