Offered is a standard Winchester Model 1892 rifle chambered for the .32-20 Winchester cartridge. Standard features include 24" full octagon barrel, full magazine, rifle butt, walnut stock, and standard sporting sights. Barrel and tube retain approximately 90% original factory blue with some minor freckling. The frame is a smooth patina. Walnut stocks are original, proud to metal, never refinished, with a small 1/4" at left wrist and 1/4" chip at top of the comb. Action is perfect. Very good bore. Rifle was manufactured in 1918 at the height of the first World War. The letter "J" has been professionally stamped on the frame and stock, we have no idea what this indicates.
