Believed to be the only known example, these three pieces combine to form a spectacular display item, which was originally loaned and not sold to a successful soda fountain operator. Made by and marked "Mettlach" on the platter and pedestal bowl bottom. Light wear, some mild to medium stains and crazing testify to the history and heritage of this item. The top portion of the bowl, as well as the lid, have both experienced restoration of chips or cracks by an accomplished professional, with a durable clear coat applied. Also includes three early tall mugs for display.
