This American made classic was made by the Savage Arms Company in Utica New York. The barrels are 28" and are in very good condition showing no pitting what so ever. Chamber is 2 - 3/4".Original barrel blue is 50% - 60%. The case hardened receiver shows no original color and has a shiny nickel appearance. The checkered fore end is in good condition with only minor nicks and dings. The checkered pistol gripped stock has a 14 - 1/4" length of pull and has minor nicks and dings. This great American shotgun locks up tight and has lots of life left. A great gun for hunting this fall.
