This standard lightweight Commander was manufactured in 1971. Features include a 3" barrel, blued finish, semi-automatic, chambered for the .38 Super cartridge, with the brown plastic Coltwood grips. Gun is all original as manufactured. It has the lightweight bobbed hammer and all serrated small parts. There is a light drag line, light wear at the muzzle and a hint of freckling on the right side of the frame. Perfect markings, bore, action. Original marked barrel and magazine. A nice early lightweight 1911 in the most popular caliber.
