Features a 24 " barrel that is chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. Rifle was manufactured from March of 1943 to June of 1943. Has correct period bolt stamped "D28287-12SA". The barrel is an "SA 5-54". No cartouche visible on wood. ME reading - 2. Rifle retains virtually all of the arsenal applied finish. Wood is near mint. Does not have Lock Bar rear sight. Nice M1 Garand rebuild.
