Interesting pair of very early J. T. Buel Arrowhead baits, both having the 1852 patent date. Lot includes a nicecondition bait, unrigged, stamped No.1, JT Buels Patent, April 6th, 1852, Whitehall, NY., the other being what appears to be a replated early bait, marked No.1, Patent, JT Buel, 1852, Whitehall, NY, shiny nickel finish, rigged on a more recent wire through with nontypical glass beads.
