Extremely rare paperwork from JT Buel of Whitehall, NY., most likely dating to the late 1890s. Measuring 12" x 19"when fully opened, this undated two sided paper shows all of his patented model baits and hardware, as well as the history of Buel and his company. Showing both the old arrowhead and NEW Silver Spinner, Fly Spoons, the 1854, 1860, and 1888 Spoon Baits, the 1876 patent Double Spoon, Steel Minnow Gang, Muskallonge Bait, and the patent Lip Hook, this paperwork is one of the earliest known examples of Buel advertising. Scattered staining and light splitting at the folds, this is a super piece of true antique fishing ephemera.
