German bisque shoulder head incised “172 7” by J.D. Kestner after the drawings of Charles Dana Gibson with long tapered eyebrows, sleeping blue/gray eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, closed mouth with lip shading line, (light nose, cheek and chin rub), replaced human hair wig in Gibson style; original Kestner kid body with rivet jointed hips, knees and elbows, bisque lower arms (body badly soiled and worn, upper leather arm mended; lovely pink corded silk gown (some deterioration on back of bodice) looks original, fancy hat, no shoes or socks. Fantastic gown on this one!
