Incredible collection of hand made baits from Charles Mizner of Euclid, OH, born in Cleveland, OH in 1885. Large green painted tackle box measures 24" x 7" x 8" and is a veritable treasure chest of hand made folk art baits, carved and painted by Mizner for his own personal use! 76 or so wood baits with a large slot of metal baits, all believed to have been made by Mizner. Condition of the baits ranges from good fished condition to excellent, many with diving lips and belly planes reminiscent of Keeling. Includes a hand written letter from the seller of this box, stating the provenance of the box and its contents, as well as Mizner's 1951 Ohio Muskalonge License. An incredible piece of American folk art fishing tackle history.
