To capitalize on the interest in the Wild West, bicycle makers such as Monark began offering unique "must-have" items such as the Gene Autry bicycle offered here. This remarkably well-kept example measures 29" from the floor to the seat. With a hard plastic horse head just above the front fender and a rear reflector surrounded by a plastic horseshoe, the bike also bears the requisite tassels, an "Official Gene Autry Pistol Horn," a metal Gene Autry pistol and holster attached to one of the bars, and an original equipment tag. The pair of 24 x 2.125 Goodyear tires are uninflated (some age cracking), and rest on a pair of 13"-long stands that were likely used for store display.

Condition: (Excellent).
