Wind driven electric generator with wind vane, brake and restored propeller. Vane is lithographed and reads, "Operate your Zenith Radio ten hours a day for 50¢ a year! Stop buying dry batteries. 500,000 satisfied farmers can't be wrong." Also includes a large 22" x 72" restored wooden propeller for the wind generator with decal visible also stating "Manufacturers of 6 and 32 Volt since 1927" on back. The propeller is wood, with strips of copper sheet metal at the forward edges, and a metal hub with balancer. The wind driven energy business was in a new phase when this propeller came out, and it makes an interesting piece of rural and energy memorabilia. Circa 1927.
