Not often does one have the opportunity to purchase factory original Jumeau`s let alone a pair! This particular example is elaborately costumed in a gold colored bebe outfit, fabulous pale bisque, blue paperweight eyes and on a fully jointed Jumeau composition body. Marked on the rear of her head: Tete Jumeau #10. More than likely this pair of dolls were quite costly in the time period(circa 1880-1890`S)and purchased by a family of substantial means for their daughter/daughters. The outfit on this doll does exhibit some frailty but largely intact and stable.
