Harry "Dick" Deiterich (aka Deiderich) started his employment at Creek Chub at the age of 16, quickly rising to the rank of Production Manager, retiring after 50 years and 4 months of employment! Along the way, he made some interesting baits, that he took with him on his many fishing trips to Canada. Among the lures found in Dick's original tackle box was this oversized, heavy duty rigged 100 Wiggler! Pictured on page 195 of Smith's "Creek Chub Lures & Collectibles, 2nd Edition, this Wiggler, the frogs on pages 192 and 194, and the red horse oversized Wiggler on page 196 were all made and fished by Dick. This experimental Wiggler measures 3 1/2", and features wire through hardware, an unmarked plain style diving lip, large glass eyes, and is painted in the Day N Night finish. Condition ofthis very special Creek Chub Wiggler is strong very good+/excellent- with a large deep hook pointer under the right eye and scattered scratches. A true prize for the serious Creek Chub collector!
DICK DEITERICH PROTOTYPE CREEK CHUB WIGGLER.
