Barrel length is 6-1/2", caliber is .44 Russian. This is referred to as the New Model No. 3. It is a six shot, single action, .44 caliber. These were manufactured from 1878-1908, but all frames were manufactured prior to 1908 and all considered antique. This is an early four digit, placing it in early production. This gun appears in as new condition as restored by noted custom gun smith David Norin of Illinois. The gun retains all of the nickel finish with fire blue screws, case colored latch hammer and trigger guard and fitted with custom hand carved antique ivory grips. Action is tight as new, strong rifle bore with some minor abrasion, barrel legends are as new. A lovely New Model No. 3 restored to new condition.
