Item one is a Smith & Wesson tip up revolver Model No. 1 manufactured from 1857 to 1860. In .22 short rimfire caliber, seven shot spur trigger, single action with a 3-3/16" octagon barrel. The frame retains approximately 80% original silver plate over brass. The cylinder and barrel are a grey patina, sharp barrel legends, perfect hinge, indexes properly, has a strong clean bore, near mint rosewood grips. Firearm B is a Frank Wesson tip up single shot pistol with a 3" octagon barrel, 22 rimfire, spur trigger, brass frame, and rosewood grips. The grips are near mint. The brass has not been cleaned or polished. Barrel is a grey patina, sharp barrel legends, rough bore, perfect action. This little pistol comes in vintage leather pouch. These were manufactured in the 1860's.
