Pretty Jumeau Bebe with brown paperweight eyes, close mouth with slight space between the lips, with red stamp on back of the head "12", and remainder of the former Tete Jumeau. Stamp removed with acid. Thought to have been sold originally by one of the Paris boutiques and they had originally applied a paper label over the Jumeau markings. She is on a very nice French wood and composition body with straight wrists, 8 separate ball joints, stamped in blue on the torso "Jumeau Medaille D'Or Paris". The costume is a teal blue velvet jacket with lace panel and skirt, old white leather shoes with tassels and a replacement blond mohair wig over cork pate. Condition overall is very good with a slight white, unpainted space above the left eye and a minor mold separation about 1/2" long on the upper right side of the head. Body finish is original and in very good condition.
