This socket head incised "R 0 D" with large blue bulbous paperweight eyes, closed mouth, pierced ears, on composition French jointed body with Steiner label on torso, jointed at shoulders, elbows and hips. She wears an ankle length dark blue French style dress with ruffled skirt, brass buttons and silk braid ribbon trim. The wig is antique honey mohair with coiled braids over plaster pate and shoes are newer, good quality, leather with cardboard soles. Condition: slight loss of color to nose tip, and chip on edge of head rim, possibly cause by a busting bubble in the firing.
