This fine two doll set is one of the most sought after R John Wright editions ever produced, and it is easy to see why given its extraordinary presentation and attention to detail. Geppetto is made from felt, fully jointed, and stands 18" tall. He wears short black felt pants, a grey collared shirt, a taupe apron, a brown vest, grey socks, and buckled shoes. He holds the strings that connect to a 9” tall carved Alpine maple wood Pinocchio. This puppet wears red pants, a white shirt, and a mustard colored hat. The set is tagged 305/500. It was made in 1994-1995 and designed directly from drawings and models from the Walt Disney Archives. With box and associated paperwork.
