Produced by Marian Kaulitz in Munich Germany 1908-1912. Munich Art Dolls were part of the Puppen Reform Movement which advocated dolls with faces and clothing made to look like real children, particularly the peasant children from the country who came to visit the city markets. Molded composition character head with painted features (some restoration to forehead & facial features), original mohair wig with curls; excellent original composition body; beautiful peasant costume with bright color and undies, shoes and socks appears original (some holes on wool skirt). Lovely presentation of this historical model!
