Having a straight blade etched and gold-washed with floral scrolls, pictorial panels, Knights and Masonic motifs. Obverse of blade etched with name: GROVER CLEVELAND. Ricasso marked: The Pettibone Co. Crossguard with Masonic motifs and a central oval element containing a red-enameled cross surrounded by a crown. One-piece ivory grip, engraved and poly-chromed with a cross and Masonic emblems. Obverse of grip with initials GC surrounded with a wreath and topped with Knight’s Templar symbol. Knight’s head pommel. Contained in original nickel-plated scabbard, the exterior is etched with floral scrolls, panoplies of arms and the name GROVER CLEVELAND. Matching sculptural pictorial three-ring mounts and chain hanger. Blade showing light wear overall. Scabbard and hanger with light age patina. Grip missing small chain.
