Small sword having a 31-1/2" tapered straight blade of hollow triangular section; the lower portion with fire-blued finish and gold-inlaid panels. Stationary clamshell grip with raised lions and riband below with legend: Je Maintiendrai. Sculpted deluxe knuckle-bow. Wood grip with crossed surface designs. Relief-cast pommel with mythical female face. Contained in leather scabbard with brass throat mount. Belt stud. Old circular tag present (37). Blade showing wear and pitting. Hilt with field wear. Scabbard missing lower mount and showing wear overall.
