Small sword. The straight tapered blade of hollow triangular section, the top with conventional fire-blued finish and gilt floral decoration. Gold-mounted stirrup hilt with engraved clamshell guard, knuckle-bow, back strap and pommel. Checkered wood grip Guard with copper fleur-de-lis. Floral quillion. Contained in black leather scabbard with gold mounts. Belt hook. Blade with light to heavy pitting. Hilt cleaned and showing light patina. Scabbard showing minor wear and cracks to leather.
