The early, straight 34" tapered blade of diamond section, the lower 6" with narrow fuller marked: XX AM ST? I ? AM. Brass hilt, the guard having plain double lobes. Straight integral crossguard with knuckle-bow. Wire-wrapped grip. Spherical pommel with flattened ball finial. Contained in later plain steel scabbard with two ring mounts. Blade showing wear and pitting. Hilt with wear. Scabbard with wear and pitting present.
