Having a French straight blade, the lower portion with checkered pattern, the upper portion with fire-blued finish and gilt panels. Gold-finished hilt with double clamshell guards, wire wrapped-grip, knuckle-bow and urn pommel. Spherical pommel. Contained in black leather scabbard with gold mounts. Two ring hangers. Flowered belt stud. Blade and hilt showing wear and pitting. Hilt with light wear overall. Scabbard with wear and minor cracks.
