The slightly curved blade of 31-inches long, the upper portion with one narrow and single wide fullers. The front portion with double narrow fullers. Blade etched with floral scrolls, arms panoply and name: Marcos Jose Arce. Portion of cartouche on ricasso. Gold-finished guard, pierced with bars and showing national crest. Spring-loaded counter guard. Ribbed two-piece pearl grip. No wire. Bird’s head pommel. Contained in white metal-finished scabbard, engraved with floral scrolls. Two ring mounts. Blade showing wear and pitting: Hilt with wear overall; 1) Middle Eastern 31 inch curved blade with gold etchings and foreign writing. Decorated cross guard with dragon head on each side. Horn grip. Blade has numerous dark spots.
